The LEGO Apple Store has moved one step closer to reality

Last May, I wrote about a proposed LEGO Apple Store that was entered into LEGO’s ‘Ideas’ initiative. Now, that proposal has moved one step closer to reality. Proposed LEGO Apple Store moving to official ‘Review’ phase LEGO users @legotruman and @2A2A hope to one day see an Apple Store LEGO set become a real product. They created a concept for LEGO Ideas, and it has since gained over 10,000 supporters. That qualifies it to move forward from LEGO’s ‘Idea’ stage into what it calls ‘Review.’ As my colleague Michael Bower said, “First time anyone has ever been happy about a bricked Apple product.” Here’s the explainer for the review phase: A “LEGO Review Board” composed of designers, product managers, and other key team members will examine the idea.
