Apple is pulling out all the stops for the global release of F1 The Movie. In select Latin American countries, that includes a playful partnership with McDonald’s, where fans can grab a Formula 1-themed combo and take home exclusive miniature cars.
Starting this Wednesday, June 25, McDonald’s is launching a limited-time “McMenu F1 The Movie” combo at locations across select countries, including Argentina, Brazil, and Mexico.
The new tie-in celebrates the upcoming movie featuring Brad Pitt (Moneyball, Inglourious Basterds), and highlights McDonald’s as an official Formula 1 sponsor across Latin America.
In Brazil, customers who order the Bacon Quarter Pounder with Cheese combo will have the option to pay an additional R$64.00 (around $11.60) to snag one of two exclusive 1:43 scale collectible F1 cars. One features McDonald’s signature colors, while the other is based on APXGP, the fictional racing team from the F1 The Movie.

Here’s how Ilca Sierra, McDonald’s Brazil’s Chief Marketing Officer, framed the campaign:
“McDonald’s and Formula 1 are brands that span generations, driven by passions that renew each season — whether through memories tied to our brand or the thrill of the track. With the launch of the combo featuring the new Bacon Quarter Pounder and exclusive collectible cars, we want to celebrate that connection with sports fans and collectors, offering an experience that goes beyond the meal. It’s about strengthening bonds, sparking memories, and inspiring new stories around a shared passion.”
Immersive experiences round out the campaign
In São Paulo, McDonald’s and Apple are taking things further. The iconic “Méqui 1000” store on Avenida Paulista is getting a full racetrack-themed makeover, complete with F1 flags and an actual race car on display.
