A24 is producing a new V/H/S horror anthology entry set in the SCP Foundation universe, following its earlier success with Backrooms. Unlike that project, the studio appears not to have engaged the SCP Foundation Wiki community, which says it has received no communication from filmmakers despite reaching out multiple times.
A24 announced a new installment in its found-footage horror franchise titled 'V/H/S: SCP,' seemingly referencing the SCP Foundation, a popular collaborative online fiction project centered on containing anomalous entities. However, the film reportedly has no official connection or licensing agreement with the SCP Foundation's creators or community.
A previously unannounced documentary about Theranos founder Elizabeth Holmes, directed by Nathan Fielder and Lance Oppenheim, had a secret premiere at the Telluride Film Festival. Titled 'You Can See Everything,' the nearly three-hour film chronicles the 34 days before Holmes began her 11-year prison sentence in May 2023, reportedly with Fielder living in her guest house during filming. A24 plans to release it in October.
