Anker has released the Prime Qi2 25W Foldable 3-in-1 Wireless Charger, a travel-friendly station that charges an iPhone via MagSafe, an Apple Watch through an MFi-certified puck, and AirPods on a base pad. The device folds flat to roughly the size and weight of an iPhone 17 Pro Max and supports Qi2.2's 25-watt charging standard, a jump from the older 7.5W cap most MagSafe accessories were limited to.
Researchers led by CSIRO's James Quach built a quantum battery prototype that charges in femtoseconds using a phenomenon called superabsorption, where organic dye molecules packed between two mirrors respond collectively to laser light.
