Motorola has announced that its 2027 flagship smartphones will officially support GrapheneOS, a privacy-focused Android alternative. This marks a shift from the current situation where GrapheneOS installation is limited mainly to Google's Pixel devices.
Qualcomm has revealed that its upcoming flagship Snapdragon processor will be the first smartphone chip to run at 5GHz. Alongside this, the company introduced Oryon FlexCache, an architecture that lets Prime cores dynamically access a shared pool of cache memory rather than being limited to a fixed allocation.
Vivo product manager Han Boxiao revealed on Weibo that the upcoming X500 Pro will use a custom 'Ultra Dynamic Camera' sensor, co-developed with ZEISS and Sony, offering 17 stops of dynamic range. The phone is also claimed to be the first to record slow-motion video at 4K resolution and 240 frames per second, ahead of an expected September launch.
