A hands-on test of the Pixel 11 Pro XL's advertised 25W wireless charging found the PixelSnap charger topping out at just 23W, well short of its rated speed and the 31W previously measured on the Pixel 10 Pro XL. The charger also took roughly six minutes to ramp up to peak power, cycling between voltage levels before settling, and could only sustain that peak for a similarly short window.
MagSafe, Apple's magnetic accessory system, has become a signature iPhone feature since 2020, while only a few Android devices like Google's Pixel with Pixelsnap or the HMD Skyline ship with built-in magnets. Android users without native support can still use MagSafe accessories by adding a phone case with embedded magnets or attaching a magnetic ring, provided their device supports wireless charging.
Google has carried its Qi2-based Pixelsnap magnetic charging system over to the new Pixel 11 phones, refreshing the accessory lineup with new cases from Google and third-party makers like dbrand, Spigen, Mous, Case-Mate and Bellroy. The Ring Stand accessory also returns in colors matching the new phones, though the Pixelsnap Charger Stand no longer matches the new Fog color option.
