Nvidia said its Groq 3 LPX rack has entered full production and will be deployed with Vera CPUs and Rubin GPUs at cloud provider Nebius later this year. The rollout follows Nvidia's $20 billion acquisition of Groq's assets in December, its largest purchase to date, and packages 256 Groq 3 chips per rack delivering 3,400 tokens per second per an Artificial Analysis benchmark.
Philips co-founded ASML in 1984 and was TSMC's largest shareholder through the late 1990s with roughly a quarter of each company. It also owned NXP outright as its internal chip division before selling it to a private-equity consortium in 2006. By the late 2000s Philips had exited its ASML and TSMC stakes entirely.
Prosecutors in Keelung, Taiwan have indicted nine people, including employees of Nvidia and Super Micro, for allegedly conspiring to illegally export high-end AI servers to China. Officials say the group knowingly circumvented the companies' export compliance procedures for personal profit, raising corporate compliance costs and damaging Taiwan's international standing.
