I want to use YouTube Music for podcasts, but it keeps letting me down

Edgar Cervantes / Android Authority I like listening to podcasts when I’m doing household chores. So I recently opened YouTube Music with the intention of continuing a podcast I’d been enjoying the evening before, but instead of resuming where I left off, I found myself squinting at the screen, scrolling through a wall of music suggestions, videos, and algorithmic clutter. The podcast was nowhere in sight. YouTube Music had let me down, again. My dream is to have as few apps as possible, and t

Scientists Discover Secret Weapon That Allows Pythons to Digest Bones

Pythons are notorious for their eating habits. After suffocating their prey with their lithe bodies, these large snakes swallow the animal whole. Now, researchers have shed new light on the cellular mechanisms that allow them to digest entire skeletons. The study, presented July 9 at the Society for Experimental Biology Annual Conference in Belgium and published in the Journal of Experimental Biology, investigated the intestinal cells of Burmese pythons. I've used OnlyOffice for a long time, and it just got a huge upgrade - for free

OnlyOffice / Elyse Betters Picaro / ZDNET OnlyOffice Desktop Editors might not be on your radar. How to get free Windows 10 security updates through October 2026: Two ways

MicroStockHub/Getty Images With just a few months remaining until the Windows 10 end-of-support date, Microsoft seems to have belatedly realized that owners of tens of millions of consumer PCs running Windows 10 aren't ready to replace their old computers, and they're also not about to fork over $30 for a one-year Extended Security Updates (ESU) subscription. So, at the end of June, just days before the end of its fiscal year, the company waved the white flag and announced new "free enrollment

Swahili on the Road

In March 1960 Julius Nyerere – then leader of the Tanganyika African National Union (TANU) – sat down with former first lady Eleanor Roosevelt on her roundtable discussion programme Prospects of Mankind. The topic was ‘Africa: A Revolution in Haste’. Although he found himself in a sympathetic circle of interlocutors, Nyerere was asked to defend the ‘readiness’ of African peoples for independence. Good-humoured but resolute, he replied: ‘If you come into my house and steal my jacket, don’t then a

An AI That Promises to “Solve All Diseases” Is About to Test Its First Human Drugs

Deep inside Alphabet, the parent company of Google, a secretive lab is working on a promise so audacious it sounds like science fiction: to “solve all diseases.” The company, Isomorphic Labs, is now preparing to start its first human clinical trials for cancer drugs designed entirely by artificial intelligence. In a recent interview with Fortune, Colin Murdoch, President of Isomorphic Labs and Chief Business Officer of Google DeepMind, confirmed the company is on the verge of this monumental st

How to Save a Dog

The first time I glimpsed the city of New Orleans, I was a small boy in the wheelhouse of a tugboat. My father pushed barges up and down the Mississippi River, and sometimes he let me tag along. The city seemed so luminous at night—so different from tiny Convent, Louisiana, where I was from—that it felt otherworldly and inaccessible. In 2020, I moved there during a painful divorce. Because of that childhood memory, my relocation felt somehow transgressive. I was going where I did not belong. Sh

Jeff Bezos gestures as he leaves Aman Venice hotel, ahead of their expected wedding, in Venice, Italy, June 25, 2025. Amazon founder Jeff Bezos sold nearly three million shares worth $665.8 million over two days in July, a regulatory filing Tuesday showed. The stock sale is part of a plan announced earlier this year that will see Bezos unload up to 25 million shares of Amazon through May 2026. Bezos, who stepped down as Amazon CEO in 2021, sold $736.7 million in stock during the final days of

FTC’s click-to-cancel rule has been struck down by federal judges at the eleventh hour

In 2024, the FTC was set to implement the "click to cancel" rule, which would have placed requirements on companies to be forthright about the terms and conditions and exit options for their subscriptions. Since that time, the agency has become a less independent part of the executive branch and in May, it delayed enforcing some parts of this rule to July 14. Today, the entire plan appears to be dead in the water after judges in the US Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals decided to vacate the rule.

Product of Additive Inverses

Product of Additive Inverses By Susam Pal on 29 May 2025 A negative number multiplied by another negative number results in a positive number. In this article, we will prove this rule, not just for numbers but for any algebraic structure that, in a general sense, behaves somewhat like numbers. Contents Illustration Let u
