Micron beat Wall Street expectations with adjusted earnings of $33.42 per share and revenue of $54.23 billion, nearly quadruple the figure from a year earlier. The chipmaker guided for roughly $61.5 billion in revenue and $38.15 in adjusted earnings per share next quarter, topping analyst estimates. DRAM revenue, its largest segment, rose 343% year-over-year to $39.8 billion.
Google has released its third Google Home app update this September, focused on making Gemini for Home better at filtering background noise to register voice commands and respond faster. The update also improves multilingual recognition, Find My Phone reliability, smart light controls, camera tiles, and device setup, alongside fixes for Matter switches, Favorites tiles, camera playback, Onn camera history, and Automations.

Grindr announced it will acquire PurposeMed, parent company of HIV prevention telehealth provider Freddie, in a deal worth $250 million, split between $190 million in cash and $60 million in Grindr stock, with up to $70 million more tied to 2027 performance. Microsoft reports that attackers have been actively exploiting a critical unauthenticated command-injection vulnerability in the Zimbra Collaboration Suite, tracked as CVE-2026-73570, to access and exfiltrate email and credential data.
