Gallup: US Adult Drinking Rate Holds at Record-Low 54%

Gallup's latest Consumption Habits survey finds 54% of U.S. adults report drinking alcohol, matching last year's historic low after a three-year decline from 62% in 2023. Just 13% admit to sometimes overdrinking, also a record low, while 51% now view even moderate daily drinking as harmful to health.
