GoKawiilSega partners with Netflix for Crazy Taxi film, Sonic series and Stranger Than Heaven adaptation
Sega and Netflix have struck a deal to adapt three Sega properties for screen: a Crazy Taxi feature film written by Dan Gregor and Doug Mand, a preschool-targeted animated Sonic the Hedgehog series, and a live-action adaptation of the upcoming Yakuza-studio game Stranger Than Heaven. Producer Toru Nakahara is overseeing all three projects, with Crazy Taxi slated to release first, in 2026.
