Apple TV wins 28 Emmys in 2026, topping HBO and Netflix again

Apple TV took eight Primetime Emmy awards last night, six for Widow's Bay and two for Pluribus, adding to 20 Creative Arts Emmys earlier for a 2026 total of 28. HBO trailed with five Primetime Emmys (16 Creative Arts) led by The Pitt and Hacks, while Netflix earned three Primetime wins plus 13 Creative Arts Emmys, including a historic double lead-acting win for Matthew Rhys.
