MagSafe wallets are probably the category of MagSafe that makes the most sense to me day to day. I am always going to carry a wallet, so might as well kill 2 birds with 1 stone. The UAG Metropolis Wallet is one of the better designed ones I’ve come across from a quality standpoint, so let’s dive into what all it offers.

Design and build quality
The Kevlar inlay on the UAG Metropolis Wallet is the first thing that stands out to me. UAG has built a wallet that feels tough but not heavy or bulky. Some MagSafe wallets are either soft and minimal or bulky and feel like you could knock someone out with them. The UAG Metropolis Wallet hits a nice sweet spot. The hinge mechanism feels solid and locks into place, so your cards stay secure without rattling around.
Looks wise, it has a clean design. It looks modern and professional without going too far into rugged territory. You’d feel at home with it on a hike or in a meeting at work. The materials and hinge give it a tactical feel, but it still slides into a pocket without adding much bulk.
Storage and everyday use
You can carry up to six cards along with folded bills. That is more than enough for my daily carry since I try to keep my wallet minimal. You get room to store cards on the outside and on the inside as well, with room for a little bit of cash. I really lean towards wallets that have an interior pocket for cash as I get older.

The kickstand on the UAG Metropolis Wallet is a nice touch as well. You don’t feel like you’re carrying something with a kickstand, but you can easily spread it apart to create one. This is really handy for a quick Zoom call on the go, etc.
