Acer Has Some Massive Gaming Laptops and Desktops Coming This Fall

In the world of gaming PCs, Acer is perhaps better known for its more budget-friendly Nitro options, while its Predator brand is overshadowed by Alienware, Razer, Omen and others. That said, with every new generation, its gaming systems get easier to recommend over the competition, and that includes its latest batch of gaming laptops and desktops announced at IFA 2025 in Berlin on Wednesday.

Desktops

At the top of line for Predator gaming desktops is the Orion 7000. Judging by what Acer is packing into this big, black tower, there will be plenty of performance for both gaming and AI workflows:

Up to an Intel Core Ultra 9 285K processor with integrated NPU

Paired with up to an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5090 GPU

Up to 128GB of DDR5 RAM

You don't have to worry about games getting increasingly large with support for up to 10TB of storage -- 6TB solid-state storage with available slots for two 2TB hard drives

It supports Wi-Fi 7 and has plenty of ports for all your accessories, including 3.5mm audio (1 front, 3 rear with audio out), USB-A 3.2 Gen 2 (5), USB-A 2.0 (2), USB-C 3.2 Gen 2x2 (1) and Thunderbolt 4 (1)

Keeping it cool is Acer's Predator CycloneX 360 liquid cooling system and several RGB LED fans
