If you've grown tired of relentless price hikes from your favorite streaming platforms, it's nice to know that free TV services like Tubi, Fawesome and Pluto TV can be counted on for all kinds of great shows and movies. New films (and TV shows) arrive on these platforms every month, making them great options if you're looking for something cheap but with great options.

Tubi's commitment to producing entertaining original thrillers continues this month with new releases like Dark Secret and Takeout, and the platform will also roll out classic movies like Poetic Justice, Coming to America and Clueless. (And if you want to compare the new version of I Know What You Did Last Summer to the old one, you can catch the 1997 original on there as of Sept. 1.)

Fawesome is already prepping for spooky season with releases like Pet Sematary and the original Friday the 13th, and on Pluto TV, you can get some less scary, more comedic thrills from new drops like Scary Movie and So I Married an Axe Murderer.

Here's a look at some of the biggest and most interesting titles arriving on streaming -- for free -- this September.
