Another adaptation of Death Stranding is in the works. James Gunn talks about the crossover relationship between the DCU and the Batman Epic Crime Saga. Plus, hints at what’s next on Murderbot. Spoilers get!

Death Stranding

Deadline reports that there is in fact another adaptation of Hideo Kojima’s franchise in the works, this time an animated feature telling an original story set in its universe from Raised By Wolves writer Aaron Guzikowski.

The DCU

In response to a fan on Threads, James Gunn stated there’s “no die hard rule” about characters from Matt Reeves’ “Epic Crime Saga” appearing in his DCU, but there are no plans to merge universes at the time.

Hatchet 5

Appearing as a guest on the Tales From The Crypt: Horror & True Crime podcast (via Bloody-Disgusting), director Adam Green proved a very Christopher Eccleston-esque answer for why there still hasn’t been a fifth adventure for his hulking, murderous ghost, Victor Crowley.

It’s always a possibility. I can’t get into all of the minutiae because it would take up six more hours, but the long story short is, once we can make the movie with different entities behind the scenes at the top level, then I’ll be interested in doing [Hatchet] 5. But things need to change. That’s probably enough; people can make of that what they want. The creative team is still very much a happy family and would love to do it, but… we need to be under new management, maybe that’s the best way to put it. The diplomatic way to put it. I think the old management knows at this point, I’m not kidding when I keep saying I’m not going to do it. So we’ll see what happens.
