Amplitude Studios raises over $13M to fund upcoming games

Newly independent Amplitude Studios announced today that it has raised €12 million, or around $13.5 million in a Series A funding round. Griffin Gaming Partners led the round with a €10 million investment, with public investment bank Bpifrance also participating. The studio plans to put the funding towards development of its new and in-development titles, including Endless Legend 2, as well as grow out its team and community collaboration. Frankie Zhu, partner at Griffin, said in a statement, “We’re excited to partner with Amplitude Studios on their next chapter – they’ve created rich strategy-based franchises and plan to continue leveraging their depth of knowledge in the genre alongside their loyal community to create engaging universes.
