PSA: YouTube app no longer supports these iPhone and iPad models

YouTube just released a new update for its iOS and iPadOS app, and by raising minimum OS requirements ahead of WWDC, it has in the process dropped support for six iPhone and iPad models. Here’s what you should know. The latest YouTube update on the App Store is version 20.22.1. Its release notes give no indication of significant changes. But despite the routine “Bug fixes, performance improvements, and more cat videos”, the app now requires iOS and iPadOS 16 to run.
