Those hopes took a hit last week. The Panthers' offense looked anemic in a 26-10 loss, with Young throwing two interceptions and losing a fumble.
Carolina faces a road test this week against the Cardinals and Kyler Murray, proof that quarterbacks under 6 feet can thrive in the NFL. Murray threw for two touchdowns, ran for 38 yards and didn't turn the ball in the Cards' 20-13 win in week one.
