Clayface
In response to a fan on Threads (via Comic Book), James Gunn stated the decision to decorate the set of Clayface with stickers, graffiti, and fliers referencing Robert Pattinson’s Batman movie “never came across [his] desk” and was likely done over his head.
Although the trash can is from the set I have a hard time believing the bat was put there by the art department. But if so it never came across my desk (I don’t have time to ok every piece of set dressing.)
The Batman, Part II
Despite last night’s Emmy win for The Penguin, Matt Reeves confirmed to MTV that Cristin Milioti will not return as Sofia Falcone in The Batman, Part II.
Cristin is not in this one [The Batman, Part II]. But that’s because we were so deep into the script by the time we were in the show. But we’ll see. I mean, I think she’s incredible. What she did in the show is just astonishing. And what [The Penguin showrunner] Lauren [LeFranc] did in creating that character. I mean, creating this version of the character. It’s so special, so it’d be really exciting to do something with her. But she’s not in this one, in full disclosure, because we were so far along in the story.
Greenhouse
During a recent interview with Republik, Don’t Look Up director Adam McKay revealed he’s struggling to find producers willing to make his climate change disaster movie, Greenhouse, starring Amy Adams and Sam Rockwell.
It’s probably the biggest film I’ve written so far, simply because of its scale and the many tones it combines. It ranges from drama to action. There are humorous elements, but also elements of great tragedy. And indeed, this film also contains hopeful scenarios that show what concrete action against global warming can look like. And how beautiful and transformative that can be. The film encompasses many scenarios, characters, and places around the world. The only catch is: I’ll see if I can even make the film.
