Most affordable 24GB MacBook Pro you can buy is now $300 off the list price
While Amazon is still offering the $300 discounts we featured on the current-generation M4 MacBook Pro lineup earlier this week, B&H is landing again with another compelling offer as well. Amazon has the most affordable 16GB M4 MacBook Pro configs all at $300 off the list price, but B&H is now offering the same $300 price drop on the least expensive configuration with 24GB of RAM.
B&H has the 14-inch M4 MacBook Pro with 24GB of RAM and the 512GB SSD marked down at $1,499 shipped. That’s $300 off the $1,799 list price and the best we can find on this model on the most affordable 24GB M4 MacBook Pro configuration there is.
Amazon does not offer this particular configuration, which for me is one of the more compelling options in the M4 lineup. It ups the RAM to 24GB without having to pay for the 1TB storage upgrade (a $200 up-charge) – the only 24GB model you’ll find on Amazon is quite a bit more expensive because of this.

Again, you’re going to find the best prices on the more affordable 16GB variants at Amazon, but for those looking to for a 24GB solution, there is a decision to be made. Everybody wants more internal storage, but at what price? Is double the storage at $200 more worth it for you? Perhaps yes, but for me, as I have stated in the past many times, these B&H offers deliver a ton of value for folks looking for more horsepower without paying the Apple tax on the storage you might supplement with external media anyway – I like to put my money into the RAM and not the storage wherever possible and sometimes the arguably limited configurations Amazon offers aren’t the best when it comes to that.

Joining some sweet $200 price drops across the most affordable end of the M4 MacBook Air lineup over at Amazon, B&H is landing this morning with a deal on one for folks who need some serious power. The 32GB 15-inch model is also now $200 off the list price. This is a configuration you can’t even buy at Amazon, but is it worth it when you can get a 24GB MacBook Pro for less, or a 16GB Air for much less than that?
Authorized Apple dealer B&H is now offering the heavily upgraded 15-inch M4 MacBook Air in the Midnight colorway down at $1,799 shipped. That’s a lot for a MacBook Air, but we are talking about model with 32GB of RAM and a 1TB internal SSD that can run circles around the base model.
While for many the entry 16GB variants with 256GB of storage are just fine for casual use, getting some work done, browsing, and YouTube action, the config we have here today sports double the RAM and 4x storage capacity for folks looking to make an investment in a machine that will last for years to come.
But when you get up into the more pricey Airs (or any piece of Apple kit for that matter) it is important to at least understand how much you’re spending and how much the higher-end machines are selling for:
Today’s Air is even more than the M4 MacBook Pro with 16GB of RAM, and even more than the models with 24GB with the deals we are tracking right now. You certainly won’t be getting a MacBook Pro with 32GB of RAM and a 1TB SSD for anywhere near $1,799 – B&H is selling those for $2,399 shipped for the record. But is the extra RAM on the Air better than just scoring a 24GB M4 MacBook Pro with half the storage and a better display for $300 less? For most folks probably not.
