The Patriots are unlikely to hang with the Buffalo Bills in the AFC East, and the Steelers will be challenged to stay with the Ravens in the AFC North, but each team could very well factor into the AFC Wild Card race this season, giving this Week 3 tilt added importance. The Steelers are 1-1 after two weeks with 41-year-old Aaron Rodgers at quarterback.
The Patriots are also 1-1 heading into this game behind second-year QB Drake Maye, who, at 23 years of age, is almost two decades younger than Rodgers. Whoever wins this battle of youth versus experience will have an early leg up in the AFC's playoff picture.
