By connecting blood health data with activity and sleep data, these companies argue that they're connecting their users' daily behavior with tangible and physiological data to provide a holistic view of health. The tests, which test for several of what Whoop says are "the most impactful" biomarkers, can be taken one time only, but the subscription model that offers members a few tests annually seems foundational to the feature. That's because, after users receive the blood test results, they are encouraged to implement lifestyle changes that could impact the numbers on their next blood test.
