Apple’s Beats brand is out with a new product today. The Powerbeats Fit come as a successor to the Beats Fit Pro that launched in 2022, but rebranded under the iconic Powerbeats name.

Here’s what’s new with the Powerbeats Fit …

The focus of the new Powerbeats Fit is largely on improving the fit compared to Beats Fit Pro. Unlike the Powerbeats Pro, which use an ear hook design that goes over the outside of the ear, the Powerbeats Fit (and Beats Fit Pro before them) use a wingtip-style design where there’s an added hook inside your ear.

Beats says Powerbeats Fit have been redesigned with a 20% more flexible wingtip, which should improve fit and comfort. Ideally, this will also mean that people who previously found the wingtip design uncomfortable might enjoy this update. The case is also 17% smaller than before.

Powerbeats Fit come with four ear tip sizes in the box, instead of three like the Beats Fit Pro.

Here’s Oliver Schusser, Apple’s vice president of Music, Sports, and Beats:

“Reintroducing Beats Fit Pro as Powerbeats Fit — alongside Powerbeats Pro 2 — unifies our lineup under a name synonymous with athletic performance and gives customers a clearer choice between two distinct, fitness-first form factors. Powerbeats Fit combines the best of Beats Fit Pro with next-level comfort, durability, and portability—making it a worthy addition to the Powerbeats family.”

One area where the Powerbeats Fit remain unchanged compared to their predecessors is the audio chip. Just like the Beats Fit Pro, the new Powerbeats Fit use Apple’s H1 audio chip. You still get features like Active Noise Cancellation, Transparency mode, Adaptive EQ and Personalized Spatial Audio.

Battery life on Powerbeats Fit clocks in at six hours with ANC enabled, that’s unchanged compared to Beats Fit Pro. Without ANC, you’re looking at seven hours of battery life, also identical to the Beats Fit Pro In combination with the charging case, you’ll get a total of 30 hours on a charge. Fast Fuel gets you up to an hour of playback with a 5-minute charge.

Powerbeats Fit are available to order today for $199.99. They’re available in four colors: Jet Black, Gravel Gray, Spark Orange, and Power Pink.
