This tablet is designed specifically for kids aged 6-12 and has 3GB of memory, a 13-hour battery, and an eight inch HD screen. One particularly great aspect of the tablet is its customization capabilities to suit kids of all ages. The home screen can be set to a "younger" or "older kid" theme, which allows younger users to see bigger icons and older kids to get more used to the formatting of a traditional tablet. A Parent Dashboard is password or PIN protected, though you can also use the parental controls from the Amazon Kids+ mobile app to access history data, change themes or age filters, set timers, and add or remove apps.
