THR reports Kali Reis, Johnno Wilson, and Zach Cherry have joined the cast of Zach Cregger’s Resident Evil movie in undisclosed roles.

Carnival at the End of Days

In a recent interview discussing the 50th anniversary of Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Terry Gilliam admitted his planned comedy Carnival at the End of Days is likely “not gonna happen.”

I think that one is not gonna happen. This is probably the first time I publicly said that. So I’m a little worried about saying it — it probably will kill it […] In the independent world, you find so many interesting hustling people… They promise you the earth, and the earth doesn’t move.

The story would concern God (Jeff Bridges) deciding to wipe out humanity for the destruction of the planet, much to the chagrin of Satan (Johnny Depp), freshly out of a job. As part of a compromise, Satan suggests a new Adam (Asa Butterfield) and Eve (Emma Laird) could get the ball rolling again.

Avengers: Doomsday

During a recent interview with Screen Rant, Famke Janssen revealed she still doesn’t “really know the storyline” of Avengers: Doomsday, even after filming her scenes.

Yeah, to be honest with you, I don’t really know the storyline, so I’m not sure. It’s not my world, it’s never been my world, really, that whole comic book world. I should know by now, I’ve been in it long enough. But I’m really excited to see when it comes out. Just like everyone else, I’ll find out what those storylines are and how it all ended up. [They’ve been] great films to be a part of, and they’ve done so many good things for my career. It’s just amazing that over all these years, I’ve had these franchises, like the X-Men, or Taken for three films, or the Netflix series, Hemlock Grove, for three seasons, or Amsterdam Empire and a Bond film. It’s (amazing) being part of these, but then having the variety constantly works for me, I’m really not good at repeating anything.
