ESR recalls over 50,000 HaloLock wireless power banks due to fire and burn hazards

In conjunction with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) and Health Canada, WayMeet Limited is recalling four models of their ESR wireless power banks.

These power banks are being recalled following 29 reports of the lithium-ion battery catching fire and exploding across the US and Canada. Thankfully, no injuries have been reported, but the fires have caused at least $30,000 of property damage in the US.

The four models included in the recall are:

2G512B

2G505
