It’s Android flagship season in China right now, and today is Oppo’s turn. It has revealed the Find X9 and Find X9 Pro, with industry-leading specs for both the cameras and batteries. Unlike sister company OnePlus, Oppo has maintained its relationship with Hasselblad, now extending it to a branded telephoto extender lens. Oppo also promised a global launch to come later this month.
I’ve had the Find X9 Pro for a couple of days, including the Hasselblad lens. I have a full review in the works, but in the meantime, I can share photos of my review sample, plus a few sample shots I’ve taken with the camera.
The Pro has an impressive triple rear camera, led by a 200-megapixel, 3x telephoto lens, which is what I used to capture all the sample shots below. While subsidiary OnePlus has ended its partnership with Hasselblad, Oppo hasn’t, so the Find X9 phones still feature Hasselblad color tuning, filters, and an extra-wide option inspired by its XPan format. The camera company’s logo is also found on both the phone and the new telephoto extender lens add-on.
