Snow White‘s First Full Song Solidifies Rachel Zegler as a Disney Princess

The vocals cannot be denied: Rachel Zegler is a real Disney Princess. Just listen to the first single from Snow White. The star’s musical performances as Maria in Steven Spielberg’s West Side Story and in The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes were just warm-ups. Disney’s live-action adaptation of its animated classic, directed by The Amazing Spider-Man‘s Marc Webb, gives us “Waiting on a Wish,” a powerful ballad sung by Zegler and written by The Greatest Showman’s Benj Pasek and Justin Paul. And it has us excited for more. The original Snow White only had six songs. The writing duo expands on that with Snow White’s new song, which is inspired by “I’m Wishing” but comes out of the gate with a empowered swell of magic.
