The shopping feature was announced by Amazon on Thursday. The Help Me Decide tool recommends a product after you've browsed several similar items and haven't made a purchase, by analyzing "your browsing activity, searches, shopping history and preferences" to deliver a product suggestion.

Help Me Decide is the company's latest use of generative AI to improve the shopping experience. It follows additions like its Interests tool, which notifies you about new products based on prompts you create.
According to Amazon, Help Me Decide is currently available to millions of US customers in the Amazon Shopping app for iOS and Android and when using a mobile browser. If you're searching for a specific item, such as an air fryer, you may notice a Help Me Decide button at the top of the product detail page. You can also tap Keep shopping for on the homepage. In addition to a top pick, the tool allows you to view a budget pick and an upgrade pick.
