Apple’s first M5 Mac, the 14-inch MacBook Pro, debuted last month. But several more M5 Macs are in the works, and a new report outlines which models to expect next in the coming year.
At least four M5 Mac models coming in 2026
Over the weekend in his Power On newsletter, Mark Gurman outlined many of Apple’s product plans for 2026.
After highlighting products launching early in the year like a new iPhone 17e and M4 iPad Air, Gurman writes:
There also should be an M5 version of the MacBook Air, as well as MacBook Pros with the M5 Pro and M5 Max chips, and new Mac monitors.
Then later, when rounding out his overview of 2026 products, he adds:
In terms of other Macs coming next year, you can expect an M5 upgrade to the Mac mini and Mac Studio.
To summarize, Apple is planning to launch the following M5 models:
MacBook Air
MacBook Pro with M5 Pro and M5 Max
