New airline adds support for iOS 26 boarding passes in Wallet

As part of iOS 26, Apple launched a redesigned boarding pass experience for flights in the Wallet app. The new design features Live Activities, quicker access to key flight details, and more.

Last month, United became the first US airline to roll out support for the new set of Wallet features. Air Canada also recently launched support for the features.

Now, Delta is following suit …

iOS 26: New boarding pass features in Apple Wallet

The change was first spotted by 9to5Mac reader Aaron on X, who noticed the new Delta boarding pass features in Apple Wallet after updating to iOS 26.2.

It’s not explicitly clear if this related to iOS 26.2, which just entered beta testing with developers today.

Theoretically, Delta could upgrade its boarding passes without requiring iOS 26.2. If you see the new boarding pass design on iOS 26 or iOS 26.1 with a Delta flight, let us know down in the comments.

iOS 26 adds a ton of new features to the Wallet, and these changes to boarding passes are key. There are three new features:

Live Activities Airport maps Luggage tracking with Find My

As you can see in the above image, the Wallet app lets you view all the key details about your flight. There’s quick access to in-depth airport information in Apple Maps, the ability to share your flight information with other people, and to instantly track your luggage in the Find My app.
