iOS 26.2 Might Let You Adjust Your iPhone's Liquid Glass Even More

Apple gave iPhones options to adjust some Liquid Glass elements with the public release of iOS 26.1 on Monday, Nov. 3.

Now, with the first iOS 26.2 beta, it looks like we'll soon be getting even more options to alter the new design.

If you're a developer or public beta tester, you can test these changes and other updates today. Since this is a beta, I recommend downloading it on a device other than your primary one. Because this isn't the final version of iOS 26.2, the update may be buggy and have a short battery life, so it's best to keep those potential issues on a secondary device.

Also, more features may be added to your iPhone when iOS 26.2 is released later to the general public (no release date has been announced). Judging by when Apple released iOS 18.2 and iOS 17.2 in December 2024 and 2023, respectively, it's likely that we will see iOS 26.2 next month.

Liquid Glass slider on the Lock Screen

The iOS 26.2 beta introduces a new slider for the Lock Screen clock that allows you to adjust the frostedness of Liquid Glass. Moving the slider to the left makes the clock more translucent, while moving the slider to the right makes it appear more solid.
