Jason Momoa is fast becoming an Apple TV fixture, with reports emerging of a third major series coming from Apple with Momoa in the starring role: Nomad.

‘Nomad’ set to be Jason Momoa’s next major Apple TV series

When Apple TV first launched in 2019, one of its tentpole series—See—was headlined by Jason Momoa.

The post-apocalyptic sci-fi series didn’t end up achieving the kind of success Apple likely hoped for. But it did amass a following, and seemed to get better with every season.

See’s third and final season aired in 2022. Then after a brief hiatus, Momoa returned to Apple TV in this year’s Chief of War.

Chief of War aired just a few months ago and met strong reception from critics and viewers alike. It has a 92% on Rotten Tomatoes and was consistently at or near the top charts for all Apple TV content.

Now, it seems Apple is ready to back a third major Momoa project.

Mike Fleming Jr writes at Deadline:

In the violent underworld of New Zealand’s outlaw bikers, a warrior torn between two lives, two callings and two families must decide which path defines his true destiny. They are writing the pilot, and the showrunner will be Collins, whose credits include John Wick Chapter 3, Sons of Anarchy, The Man in the High Castle and The Wire.

No official announcement has yet been made, and it will likely be a couple of years before the series actually hits Apple TV.
