Apple released iOS 26.2 earlier today, and it continued its system-wide overhaul of the Liquid Glass visual concept with a nice interface update to the Level tool inside the Measure app. Here’s what it looks like.
Liquid Glass keeps making its way across the system
Following the first wave of app updates with the Liquid Glass visual concept announced during WWDC25, Apple is now working to further integrate the new visual cues throughout its native apps.
On iOS 26.2 developer beta 2, released earlier today, Apple updated the native Measure app to include some of the Liquid Glass visual cues on the interface of the Measure and Level tools.
Now, the app shows some chromatic aberrations when the level indicator crosses the horizon. It also applies a distortion effect to the background grid.
When checking the level of something that would be either on the floor or on the ceiling, the Level tool now displays two Liquid Glass circles, instead of the flat circles from before.
The Liquid Glass effect applied within the circles also deforms the background grid and level number on the screen, organically merging as the level indicator approaches 0º.

Whether Apple will tweak them further ahead of the official release of iOS 26.2, or add Liquid Glass elements to the actual Measure tool, remains to be seen.
