The Alienware AW3425DW5 34-inch curved QD-OLED is the successor to one of our favorite QD-OLED gaming monitors, the AW3423DWF. Several upgrades and enhancements have been made to this next-generation screen, including hardware spec upgrades and changes to the chassis and stand design. According to price-checking tools, this gaming monitor is currently available at its lowest price ever. The Dell Alienware AW3425DW is now available for just $649 at both Dell and Amazon ahead of the main Black Friday sales.
The Alienware AW3425DW refresh keeps many of the features of the older AW3423DWF monitor. It still has a large 34-inch curved 1800R QD-OLED panel with a 3440 × 1440 resolution. The pixel density of this screen is 110 pixels per inch, enough to give a crisp, clear image of the displayed content. Being a QD-OLED display, one can expect deep blacks and excellent contrast, alongside vibrant colors thanks to its wide color gamut coverage, including 99.3% of the DCI-P3 color gamut. The increase in refresh rate from 165 Hz to a whopping 240 Hz over HDMI 2.1 and DisplayPort 1.4 is also a big step up.
