With Thanksgiving fast approaching, many are in the process of figuring out what to serve, shopping for ingredients and mentally preparing to prep and cook multiple recipes. While the end results are always delicious, preparing an entire Thanksgiving feast can still be stressful and require a lot of time and effort. This got me thinking: To save hours and energy, is it possible to prepare an entire Thanksgiving dinner with just meal kits?
Blue Apron sent me eight meal kits so I could determine the answer. Each kit came ready for a different entrée, side dishes and dessert from the company's Thanksgiving menu, which is currently available for delivery until Nov. 30. Here's how my experiment went.

This 120-minute recipe requires only 30 minutes of active preparation time. Instructions are to season the turkey with salt and pepper the day before cooking, and then coat it with a mixture of salted butter and a spice blend of onion and garlic powders, dried parsley and smoked paprika one hour before roasting.
