This charming new font is a love letter to San Francisco’s public transit

Fran Sans (get it?) pays homage to the display signs on San Francisco’s MUNI trains. Most people don’t give the display screens on their commuter trains a second thought, but for designer Emily Sneddon, they’ve proved to be a well of inspiration.
