NFL Thanksgiving Games: How to Watch Today and the TV Schedule for Week 13

Football fans are in for a treat today (as long as you don't mess up the turkey) because this year's NFL Thanksgiving lineup is fantastic. Each of the three games has a chance to be great.

First up is a classic NFC North battle between the 7-3 Packers and 7-4 Lions. The Packers beat the Lions in week 1 at Lambeau, and now the Lions have a chance to even the season series at home. Both teams need a win to keep pace with the division-leading Bears. The Packers and Lions kick off in Detroit at 1 p.m. ET (10 a.m. PT) on Fox and Fox One.

The Chiefs and Cowboys are up next at 4:30 p.m. ET (1:30 p.m PT) on CBS and Paramount Plus. Neither the 6-5 Chiefs nor the 5-5-1 Cowboys can afford many more losses if they want to sneak into the playoffs this year. The Chiefs offense has shown glimpses of returning to its former explosive self and could find success against a porous Dallas defense. The Cowboys have had their issues on that side of the ball, but their offense has been humming with Dak Prescott getting the ball into the hands of playmakers CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens.

The nightcap as you digest today's feast is an AFC North clash between the Ravens and Bengals. Baltimore has won five straight to move to the top of the division. The Bengals are heading in the opposite direction. They've lost their last four games but are getting Joe Burrow back for tonight's game. The Ravens and Bengals start at 8 p.m. ET (5 p.m. PT) on NBC.

And don't forget that tomorrow for Black Friday, there's another great matchup to look forward to while you enjoy the best part of Thanksgiving, a leftover turkey sandwich with a stuffing waffle on the side. The Bears and Eagles play tomorrow starting at 3 p.m. ET (12 p.m. PT) on Prime Video.

How to watch NFL Week 13 from anywhere using a VPN

Looking ahead to the weekend, if you find yourself unable to view Sunday's games locally because of incorrectly applied blackout restrictions, you may need a different way to watch. That's where using a VPN can come in handy. A VPN is also the best way to stop your ISP from throttling your speeds on game day by encrypting your traffic, plus it's a great idea for when you're traveling and find yourself connected to a Wi-Fi network, and you want to add an extra layer of privacy for your devices and logins.

With a VPN, you're able to virtually change your location on your phone, tablet or laptop to get access to the game. So if your internet provider or mobile carrier has stuck you with an IP address that incorrectly shows your location in a blackout zone, a VPN can correct that problem by giving you an IP address in your correct, nonblackout area. Most VPNs, like our Editors' Choice, ExpressVPN, make it really easy to do this.
