Heads up, baseball fans. MLB: The Show is officially coming to iPhone. The game is already soft launched in one country and will launch globally in the future.
If you want to play as your favorite MLB team on a gaming console, MLB: The Show is the name of the game.
With the 20th anniversary of the game’s first release approaching, MLB: The Show is coming to iPhone for the first time.
“We’re taking MLB The Show Mobile live in the Philippines,” the game makers announced today. “Realistic baseball gameplay on iOS and Android. This is step one. We’re testing, learning, and building toward broader availability.”
The team calls it “a new standalone experience built from the ground up to deliver realistic baseball gameplay on mobile devices.” You can see a preview of gameplay from the App Store listing, although it’s only available to download in the Philippines for now.
On its website, the game makers say that there is no set timeline for when the title will expand to other regions or officially launch.
However, they say not to expect cross-platform support between mobile and console versions. There’s also no iPad version in the works for now.
The site does say that MLB: The Show Mobile will require iOS 26, and while older iPhones running iOS 26 are compatible, the game will feature “enhanced graphics, increased frame rates, and higher resolutions” on iPhone 16 and up.
