Spotify can crank up a celebratory tune following the debut of its 2025 Wrapped recap on Wednesday. The 2025 edition of Wrapped, the music service's year-end roundup, introduced Spotify's first multiplayer game and a listening age feature, and it appears that music fans were eager to tune in. This Wrapped launch is the biggest ever, according to Spotify. Wrapped 2025 had more than 200 million engaged users in its first 24 hours, representing a 19% year-over-year increase.
Last year, Wrapped reached 200 million engaged users in 62 hours. Spotify said engaged users viewed at least one story within the experience.

Spotify's 2025 Wrapped also garnered more than 500 million shares within its first day, a 41% increase from last year. Shares include native shares, screenshots and downloads.

"Spotify is where people proudly express who they are through the music, podcasts and books they love most, and Wrapped is our annual spotlight on that identity," Marc Hazan, Spotify's senior vice president of global marketing and partnerships, said in a statement. "We are delighted that our users are loving this year's experience and engaging in record time."
