OnePlus has been teasing the OnePlus 15R for a few weeks now, trickling out new information as we get closer to its launch. Last month, we got our first official look at the Chinese version of the device, which is known as the OnePlus Ace 6T. The company has now confirmed a new detail about the phone — its battery size.

As mentioned earlier, OnePlus provided a glimpse at the OnePlus 15R back in November. This teaser was delivered through OnePlus China’s president Li Jie Louis. In addition to showcasing the colorways, Li Jie Louis also said that the handset would have a ~8,000mAh battery. However, it was unclear if the global version’s battery would also be as massive.
Today, OnePlus confirmed that the OnePlus 15R will feature an impressive 7,400mAh battery. While clearly not as big as 8,000mAh, 7,400mAh still manages to be the largest battery the company has put in a phone. It even narrowly surpasses the recently launched OnePlus 15, which has a 7,300mAh battery.
On top of that news, the company also offered a few more peeks at the phone today on social media. These images show off the OnePlus 15R in its Phantom Green colorway.
The OnePlus 15R is scheduled to launch on December 17, where the brand will share more information. Once it launches, it will be the first phone to feature the non-Elite Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chip. You can also expect a display with a 165Hz refresh rate and water and dust ratings of IP66/68/69/69K.
