Amazon drivers work hard, often with little gratitude. But Amazon's "Thank My Driver" promotion is now back, offering you the chance to thank your hardworking driver at no additional cost to you.
The promotion runs for a limited time. According to Amazon, "during the 2025 holiday promotion, and starting on Dec. 3, drivers will receive $5 (with a maximum of one thank-you per delivery) at no cost to the customer. After the 2 million thank-you milestone is reached, every customer thank-you that follows until Dec. 31 will count toward 1,250 daily prizes of $100 to the most-thanked drivers each day. This includes 1,000 to Delivery Service Partner Delivery Associates, 200 Amazon Flex delivery partners, and 50 Amazon Hub Partners and Delivery Associates."
This matches previous promotions that have typically run through the holiday season.
Here's how you can thank your delivery driver on Amazon. Amazon
How to tip your Amazon driver for free
If you've got an Echo device
If you don't own an Alexa device, you can search for the phrase "Thank my driver" on the Amazon app, and then click the top result.
On the Amazon website, I was also able to do it by logging in and following this link to reach a page with a big yellow "Thank my driver" button. Clicking it confirmed that a tip was sent to my driver for the most recent delivery.
