After revamping its internet offerings in June, Comcast is now overhauling its Xfinity TV packages, which include new plan names and retooled pricing. Starting Wednesday, subscribers will now get the X1 4K TV box, a voice remote and features such as multiview and fan view included at no extra cost. Access to the Xfinity Stream app remains a standard part of all plans.
The refreshed, simplified pricing model is open to everyone -- new and existing Xfinity TV customers can choose one of these five packages: TV Core, Sports & News TV, World Soccer Ticket, TV Plus and TV Premium. Each includes DVR and 4K, and you pay a single rate that rolls in all associated fees without worrying about renting equipment, breaking contracts or special promos that expire. Peacock is excluded from the TV Core, TV Plus, and TV Premium packages, but customers can visit Comcast's virtual streaming shop to sign up for apps, bundles (like StreamSaver) and more entertainment options.
Subscribers who have other Xfinity services, like internet or mobile, are eligible for additional discounts on the TV packages noted below.

"Like we did with Xfinity Internet, we've simplified and reimagined our video packages, making it easy and hassle-free for our customers to enjoy great content on the best and most innovative entertainment experience," said Steve Croney, Comcast's chief operating officer and incoming CEO of connectivity & platforms.
In addition to these packages, Xfinity also offers NOW TV, a budget-friendly live TV streaming platform for its internet customers.
