Evolved Novelties Pleasure Puff Inflatable Rabbit Review: A-Spot Stimulation

read original related products more articles

While I usually stay away from anything with inflatable in the name—I was in one of those inflatable bouncy castles as a kid when it decided to deflate—I made an exception for the Pleasure Puff Inflatable Rabbit. It wasn’t because I’m a sucker for rabbit vibrators; I saw that it was designed for A-spot stimulation, in addition to G-spot and clitoral stimulation, so I wanted in on the action.

I can’t say I’ve mastered A-spot stimulation, nor have I ever climaxed because of it, but it doesn’t mean I’ve given up hope. It was with this in mind that I took the Pleasure Puff for a ride to see if the adorable inflatable ball could deliver.

A-Spot 101

No, the A-spot is not related to anal sex. When it comes to erogenous zones within the vagina, there's the G-spot—which we hear about a lot—on the inside of the pelvic bone. It shares a lot of nerve tissue with the clitoris, and when it's stimulated, it can indirectly stimulate the clitoris.

Further inside the vagina is the anterior fornix, aka the A-spot. While the G-spot is somewhere between two to three inches inside the vagina, the A-spot, which resides between the cervix and inner vaginal wall, is four to five inches deep. The A-spot, because it’s so far up inside, requires a bit more searching, and when found, needs a decent amount of pressure for proper stimulation. Like the G-spot and the clitoris, the stimulation of the A-spot evokes different sensations.

Because we’re all unique in how we experience pleasure, it’s important to realize that stimulating the A-spot might not be for you. In fact, you might find it as pointless as some people feel G-spot stimulation is. In other words, remove expectations from the equation.

Different, Not Better

At first glance, the Pleasure Puff looks like a traditional rabbit vibrator. It has a shaft for internal stimulation and an outer arm for clitoral stimulation. Like all rabbits, both parts have their own motor and a corresponding button to control the vibration modes of each. While fairly average in girth, the internal arm is pretty lengthy for a rabbit. Granted, this is necessary for A-spot stimulation, but it’s also a bit deceptive because, as much as it looks and feels long in use, the insertable shaft, per the manual and my trusty measuring tape, is only 5.25 inches.
