The OnePlus 15R is the more affordable sibling to the $900 OnePlus 15 phone. I got my hands on a sample to test ahead of its launch next week. And while you'll need to wait for my full review, here's an early look at the phone's key features and what comes in the box.

The mint breeze edition of the OnePlus 15R, launching on Wed. Dec. 17, has a light green hue. While OnePlus hasn't revealed many of the 15R's specs, we do know a few of its bigger features. The phone has a dual-rear camera and a large 7,400-mAh battery (which is a bit more capacity than the OnePlus 15's 7,300-mAh silicon-carbon battery). The 15R is also the first phone with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor, which is meant to be its own step down from the Elite edition of the OnePlus 15's chip.

Similar to the OnePlus 13R from earlier this year, the 15R comes with a 55-watt wired charger (a rare inclusion by phone-makers in 2025), a SIM ejector tool and a USB-C to USB-A adapter to assist with using the included cable for transferring phone data.
