Christmas falls on a Thursday this year, giving football fans the gift of three NFL games. Like last year, two games will stream on Netflix, with the third streaming on Prime Video as part of Amazon's regular Thursday Night Football schedule.

The holiday football action begins at 1 p.m. ET (10 a.m. PT) on Netflix with the Washington Commanders taking on their NFC East rivals in the Dallas Cowboys. Both the Commanders (4-11) and Cowboys (6-8) have been eliminated from playoff contention, so they'll be playing for pride (and individual player performance-based bonuses).

Next, it's an NFC North showdown between the Detroit Lions and Minnesota Vikings at 4:30 p.m. ET (1:30 p.m. PT) on Netflix. The Vikings (7-8) are already looking toward next year, but the Lions (8-7) still have a slim chance to pass the Packers and grab the last NFC playoff spot if they win out. And at halftime, Snoop Dogg will perform.

In the Christmas nightcap, the Denver Broncos take on the Kansas City Chiefs starting at 8:15 p.m. ET (5:15 p.m. PT) on Prime Video. For the first time in a decade, the Chiefs (6-9) will miss the playoffs. They'll try to play the role of spoiler against their AFC West rivals, who are tied with the Patriots at 12-3 for the best record in the conference and playing for the top seed in the AFC and a first-round playoff bye.

If you don't have Netflix or Prime Video, keep reading because there are other low-cost or free ways to watch or stream Christmas Day football.
