Apple TV is kicking off the new year with a packed lineup of TV shows in January, but the streamer’s next movie—Eternity—is expected to drop in February and stars Elizabeth Olsen. Here are the details.
Eternity is an A24 film that debuted in theaters right around Thanksgiving, in late November.
There was no indication of Apple’s backing during the theatrical marketing, so the company’s involvement went entirely under the rader. But recently, Eternity was featured in a preview of big premieres coming to Apple TV soon.
Apple TV hasn’t yet announced an official release date outside of ‘Winter 2026,’ but a premiere in mid-February around Valentine’s Day is expected.
Eternity received strong reviews from critics and viewers alike, who praised the high-concept romantic comedy‘s strong central trio of Elizabeth Olsen, Miles Teller, and Callum Turner.
Here’s the official plot summary, followed by the trailer:
In an afterlife where souls have one week to decide where to spend eternity, Joan (Elizabeth Olsen) is faced with the impossible choice between the man she spent her life with (Miles Teller) and her first love (Callum Turner), who died young and has waited decades for her to arrive.
