Man United boss Ruben Amorim will need to negotiate a selection crisis on Sunday as his depleted team take on fierce rivals Leeds, with the improving hosts looking to pull themselves further clear of the relegation zone.
The Red Devils could move to fifth in the Premier League standings with a win today, but will need to make do without injury hit stars Bruno Fernandes, Kobbie Mainoo, Matthijs de Ligt and Harry Maguire. Bryan Mbeumo, Amad Diallo and Noussair Mazraoui are also unavailable due to their involvement at the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations.
They take on a Leeds team that managed to hold defending champions Liverpool to a goalless draw at Anfield on Thursday, with that result extending the Peacocks' unbeaten run to six.
Leeds United takes on Manchester United on Sunday, Jan. 4, at Elland Road, with kickoff set for 12:30 p.m. GMT. That makes it a 7:30 a.m. ET or 4:30 a.m. PT start in the US and Canada, and an 11:30 p.m. AEDT kickoff in Australia.
