Acer’s latest Swift laptops feature the world’s largest haptic touchpad and new Intel processors

Acer is taking the stage at CES 2026 to unveil a range of new products, including updated monitors and refreshed gaming laptops. But that’s not all, as the company is also announcing upgrades to its existing line of consumer-focused laptops in the Swift and Aspire product lines.

Acer Swift 16 AI

Starting with the flagship Acer Swift 16 AI, Acer is upgrading the processor to options that extend up to an Intel Core Ultra X9 388H processor with built-in Intel Arc B390 graphics, providing users with ample headroom for AI processing and other intensive tasks.

The laptop also boasts the world’s largest haptic touchpad (175.5mm x 109.7mm in size), which supports up to MPP 2.5 stylus input, providing creators with a sleek input mechanism for sketching and other creative tasks. Display options extend up to a 16-inch 120Hz 3K OLED WQXGA+ touch display, allowing you to sketch directly on the screen.

The Swift 16 AI features Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, dual Thunderbolt 4 Type-C ports, a USB Type-A port, HDMI 2.1, and a microSD card slot. This laptop will be available in the US in Q1 2026.
